This summer i was forced to say goodbye to my good old friend, my canon camera, Powershot. I landed a PT job and saved some money to buy ... a Nikon D3100.I now have a dslr, no more frustrations with point and shoots anymore. things are looking up now, our futures are never foretold but for now i am happy enough to actually say that i'm happy. look forward to seeing some new and improved photos from me. And i want to take this time to say thank you to all of watchers who have been with me for a while or for those who just joined.

..I just hope this moment of peace and relief last for a while.
I hope everyone out there has had a good day.

A few days ago I watched as my Canon fell violently to the floor in my kitchen, obscuring the lens and not be able to fix it back, therefore, it was not able to survive, making this its last fall. Lets start off by saying that yes, it was a power-shot, yes the lens are not removable and yes always buy a camera with removable lens. Today I tell you that you wont be seeing no more work from my canon anymore, besides the photos that I took before it died. But I will instead take photos with my GE x500 automatic camera that gets on my nerves because it only has auto-focus and not manual focus *aggravation* though it has identical quality as my canon, when the focus is right. When my canon broke, it brought me back to my first "serious" camera, the Kodak Easyshare, yeah some photos from that camera still remains here in my gallery, anywhoo, i remember how distraught i was because that's when i realized that i love photography and don't really see myself doing anything else...well other than my writing, i want to do this for as  long as i can (i.e. the rest of my life). now what im focused on is saving up money and buying another canon camera, but a dslr, and take better care of it because i really want to better my skills as a photographer, because with a power shot, you just cant do that. Wish me luck! i just hate that by the time i have enough money to get the camera that its going to be shitty Rochester winter weather again, that sucks! you live and you learn.

In regards to photography of course. I noticed that im taking a liking to my recent photos of the architect in my city. all these five years i have struggled to take nature photos and really never "loved" them as much as i love my architect photos. look for more buildings to come! Lets see what happens from there!

Always. Always look to your future in bright ways, because even though in this moment it may seem dark, there is always light. You just have to try hard and push towards the light. Hope big and dream wild.
